A one day constitutional review/inter party dialogue meeting was held at the British council in Freetown on the 1st August 2013 with the aim of acquainting political Parties on the 2006 recommendations and ascertain the usefulness of these recommendations as in our recent times.
It is on that note the Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC) deemed it obligatory to hold a one day regional conference review meeting for political Parties members of the Constitutional Review Committee(CRC) and other senior executive members of the 10 registered political parties.
A total of three consultative meetings were held in Makeni, Bo and Kenema and political party representatives identified emerging issues, debated proposals and built consensus around recommendations that would be fed into the CRC work. This activity is aimed at complimenting the work of the constitutional review committee and the entire reform process.
